This rod was custom designed by Whaler's Cove Lodge guide, John Beath. It is a blend of composites designed to be sensitive, sturdy and flexible for the downrigger, mooching, jigging, trolling with weights from 1 to 10 oz. This rod will handle BIG FISH! Beath has fished these rods exclusively in Alaska and proved the design. This rod also features stainless steel guides that will accommodate monofilament or super braid lines without the worry of guide inserts falling out or breaking.
